CLC's mission is to bring students together to engage in intentional conversations, explore tools of Ignatian Spirituality, and form meaningful relationships. Weekly small groups allow peers to open up in a supportive space about important topics such as spirituality as college students.
Christian Life Community Programs
Retreats
CLC offers retreats throughout the year in order to engage participants creativity as a spiritual practice. These are opportunities to deeply listen and connect with yourself, others, nature and God in new, poignant, and playful ways.
Community Events
Throughout the year Christian Life Community hosts a variety of community events such as the Kickoff Pizza Social at the Stokes Amphitheater, the CLC Retreat in the Simboli Hall Chapel, the CLC Halloween Social, the CLC Thanksgiving Social, the CLC Christmas Party just to name a few!
Taiz茅 Prayer
Taiz茅 is a form a Christian prayer originating from the ecumenical Christian community of Taiz茅 in France. It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ's presence around and within us. It is a time to "come away and rest for awhile".
General registration for the 2025- 2026 academic year is live! There is no application process, but all new members must register in order to be placed in a group.

Belonging & Becoming is a day retreat for first year students to reflect on new beginnings, transitions, and what community and faith might look like for them in college.听
The Community Retreat offers an opportunity to engage in small group conversations and reflect on how the fall semester is going.
The Council Retreat is for CLC Council Members to engage in faithful conversation and reflection with one another.
Join us as we tap into our call to be co-creators with the Ultimate Artist. Reflect and pray with us in creative, life-giving and embodied ways!
This retreat is for New Leaders to enjoy a weekend full of fun bonding activities and spiritual reflection!
